Life Drawing - Still Life or Model. Perspective, Portraiture, Line, Shading, Negative Space, Charcoal, Paint, Mixed Media.
Modelling From The Figure - Life Size Studies, Half Sized or Quarter.
Portraiture - 3D or 2D, 3D studies start with the making of a Head Peg, Modelling, Hollowing Out, Firing or Mould Making, Casting, Patenation and Mounting of the finished study.
Armature Making - Wood or Metal, the underlying structure which is modelled upon when making a sculpture.
Welding - Fabricating sculptures or line drawings in metal.
Patenation - The colouring and finish placed upon fired or cast works.
Clay Cube - Worshops trying to convey the rudiments of sculpture as a language, introducing line, form, rhythm, quality of mass and the use of space as a positive.
Elements - Clay is rolled out and flattened into fragments and used as a building process. A good exercise to allow ideas to appear from the sub-conscious.
Wood Carving / Stone Carving - Relief, 3D or Letter Cutting.
Sketch Book Journal - Emphasis on keeping a sketch book or journal and note of processes.
Mixed Media / Found Objects - Alternative processes in building work.
Mask Making - Fabricating Masks.
Individual Tutorials - To discuss the development and progress of further works.
Sewing / Costumes / Fashion - A core skill in adding variety and possibilities of approach to work or for those whose work is developing in this direction.
