Joanna Peacock - Background
Joanna Peacock has been creating stunning costumes and original shows and performing since the late 80's. Initially teaming up with ex-members of the Archaos Circus and then forming her own troupe FREAK in 1996.
Joanna, along with the infamous performer Bingo, is responsible for creating one of the most original performance acts to be seen in the last 20 years. Commonly known as 'Angle Grinding', an act whereby angle grinders are used on plates of steel strapped to the performer's body. Theatrically and expressively used,
this creates an extraordinary performance which is moving, powerful, sexy and a truly original and incredible spectacle.
Joanna was born into a long line of costumiers and artists, she has studied sculpture for seven years and is an accomplished artist.
